The enemy is us.

Pogo, the great philosophical cartoon character from the past, observed: “We have met the enemy and he is us!” … prophetic words that define the contemporary American political environment.  With the advent of Trump 2.0, the American people are engaged in a war with themselves fighting for the freedoms  that are the promise of the Constitution with MAGA Americans motivated by untruths, conspiracy theories, and a lust for power.
