The Republican Party has become a cult, transformed by Donald Trump into a party whose former principles are now just a sad reflection of their cult leader. They are heartless in their neglect and treatment of those who aren’t rich, immigrants, and people of color; their brains do not seem to have the capacity to listen to learn from experts on great issues like the coronavirus and climate change; and they lack the courage to stand up against Trump’s lies, corruption, racism, and mismanagement that are destroying America.
