The deadly combination of lies, bad information, misinformation, and incomplete information put forward by self-serving and fearful politicians and media have resulted in a failing American political dialog that twists and hides the truth. The result: a widespread misunderstanding of the issues and an electorate too often voting against its individual and collective self-interest.
